9:48 a.m. – Main Street, Colfax – The sheriff’s chaplain assisted the Colfax police.

10:21 a.m. – Wawawai-Pullman Road, Pullman – A deputy conducted a welfare check.

11:44 a.m. – Wawawai Road, Clarkston – An abandoned vehicle was reported.


11:57 a.m. – Grand Avenue, Pullman – Elsie A. Hada, 25, was ticketed for driving while license suspended.

1:12 p.m. – Main Street, Colfax – A deputy responded to a hang-up 9-1-1 call.

1:40 p.m. – US 195, Colfax – A deputy requested a case number for “other law enforcement calls.”

1:48 p.m. – US 195, Pullman – A deputy assisted EMTs with an ill person, who was taken to the hospital.

2:53 p.m. – Undisclosed, Clarkston – A deputy assisted the Asotin County Sheriff’s Office.

5:41 p.m. – SR 193, Clarkston – Jesse A. Cardwell, 30, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.

6:10 p.m. – Sand Road, Pullman – Illegal dumping was reported.

8:28 p.m. – Undisclosed, Uniontown – A deputy responded to a person complaining of having a laser pointed at him.

11:13 p.m. – Lake Street, Colfax – A traffic violation was reported.

9:21 a.m. – Weber Road, Pullman – A deputy responded to a report of trash being dumped on the side of the road.

10:15 a.m. – Mud Flat Road, LaCrosse – A deputy conducted a welfare check.

10:40 a.m. – Eighth Street, Rosalia – A person complained of being harassed.


10:46 a.m. – Sheriff’s office – A sex offender registered a new address.

12:04 p.m. – A Street, LaCrosse – A deputy investigated a report of a person stealing a vehicle.

7:20 p.m. – Howard Street, Tekoa – Jessica Vanveen was arrested for assault in the third degree, possession of illegal drugs, and obstructing a public servant.

4:32 p.m. – SR 270, Pullman – A deputy responded to a person being harassed.


7:00 p.m. – US 195, Colfax – A deputy responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. The deputy contacted the people in the vehicle.

8:12 p.m. – Walla Walla Highway, Colfax – Jacqueline B. Thompson, 62, was arrested on a warrant.

10:58 p.m. – A deputy assisted the Colfax police.

Thursday, Feb. 10

8:11 a.m. – Front Street, St. John – Steven J. Mosby, 29, was arrested for assault in the fourth degree – domestic violence.


9:07 a.m. – Madison Street, Tekoa – A person was reported as acting in a disorderly manner. A deputy contacted the person.

9:31 a.m. – Tekoa Elementary School – A deputy conducted the DARE program.

10:11 a.m. – Spokane Street, Lamont – A person reported a scam text.

6:32 p.m. – H Street, Endicott – A deputy responded to a report of a suicidal person.

9:57 p.m. – Kamerre Road, Pullman – A deputy conducted a welfare check.

9:45 a.m. – SR 272, Garfield – A man was seen opening mailboxes, looking inside, and removing stuff from one of them. He was last seen on North Palouse Road.

11:33 a.m. – F Street, Albion – A deputy conducted a welfare check.

1:16 p.m. – SR 272, Palouse – A deputy responded to a report of disorderly conduct.

4:30 p.m. – Front Street, St. John – A deputy assisted a citizen.

5:06 p.m. – Houghton Street, Palouse – A deputy assisted with a person who died.

6:47 p.m. – SR 26, LaCrosse – A deputy ticketed a driver for driving while their license was suspended.

7:39 p.m. – SR 194, Pullman – A person was making threats and a deputy responded.

Saturday, Feb. 12

12:55 a.m. – Stadium Way, Pullman – Alyson R. Newstrom was arrested for DUI.

1:29 a.m. – Main Street, Colfax – A disorderly person was locked out of a building and pounding on the back door and making threats. A deputy responded.

2:40 p.m. – Grove Road, Endicott – A woman was walking around private property taking pictures without permission. She was the person complaining’s soon-to-be ex-daughter-in-law.

3:08 p.m. – McCoy Street, Oakesdale – A deputy responded to a report of a dog being shot with a BB gun.

3:40 p.m. – LaCrosse – A deputy conducted a welfare check on a homeless person.

4:28 p.m. – H Street, Albion – There was a report of an animal problem.

10:51 p.m. – Front Street, Albion – Jeffrey F. Webb was arrested for assault in the fourth degree – domestic violence.

Sunday, Feb. 13

12:07 a.m. – US 295, Colfax – A deputy responded to a report of a suicidal person. The person was found and taken to the hospital for treatment.

12:42 a.m. – Whelan Road, Pullman – There was a report of fraud.

8:14 a.m. – Madison Street, Tekoa – A deputy responded to q report of an assault.

9:11 a.m. – Fourth Street, LaCrosse – A deputy requested a case number for an illegal drug problem.

9:26 a.m. – Truax Street, Tekoa – An officer answered a phone conversation with another agency.

10:01 a.m. – Sheriff’s office – A deputy assisted another law enforcement agency.

4:44 p.m. – Whitman Street, Pullman – Keith A. Reeves was ticketed for driving while license suspended.

4:47 p.m. – Dry Creek Road, Garfield – A deputy responded to a report of a vehicle that is occupied by two adults, that is stuck in the mud about 100 yards from Dry Creek.

11:08 p.m. – Woodworth Street, Uniontown – A resident called to report a disorderly intoxicated person was pounding on the door.
