Vikings girls win three, boys drop three

PALOUSE - The Garfield-Palouse girls basketball team (12-4) has won three of its last four games.

The Vikings girls topped Tekoa-Rosalia, 56-12, on Jan. 19, but fell to Pomeroy, 44-42, on Jan. 22.

The local girls bounced back Jan. 25 to knock off Colton, 53-48, and then notched a anotehr win Jan. 28 over Oakesdale, 41-22.

Meanwhile, the Vikings boys have lost three of their last four games.

The boys dunked the DeSales Fighting Irish, 52-37, on Jan. 15, then lost to Tekoa-Rosalia, 51-36, on Jan. 19.
