Sena fills vacant position on Palouse council

PALOUSE — Leslie Jo Sena is the new Palouse City Council member filling the vacant position 3.

Two residents expressed an interest in being on the city council through submitted letters. Sena and Ron Weller were scheduled to be at the city council meeting on Jan. 11 for interviews.

Mayor Tim Sievers presented questions for the applicants, according to council meeting minutes.

Weller did not attend the meeting leaving Sena to answer the questions alone.

Council moved to an executive session for 11 minutes to discuss the interview.
