Pullman Regional Hospital welcomes first baby of 2022

PULLMAN - Whitman County has its first baby of 2022.

Nora Joan Kawula was delivered at 3:48 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, at the Pullman Regional Hospital.

Whitman Hospital and Medical Clinics has yet to see its first baby born in 2022. Officials there said no mothers were in the delivery stages, at press time.

Nora was welcomed by her mother, Margot Gilder, 27, and father, Evan Kawula, 33. She weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces. She was 21 inches long.
