Passport to Colfax winner announced

COLFAX - Howard Ulrich won the Colfax Chamber of Commerce Passport to Colfax 2021 contest.

The contest started at the Holiday Open house in November and closed at Winterfest. Contestants were to gather stamps from participating businesses and turn them in to be part of a random drawing for $200.

"I was in town doing errands and went from business to business and got my stamps," said Colfax native Ulrich.

The prize was presented to Ulrich at the monthly chamber meeting on Dec. 14. A group of business leaders was present to congratulate him.

The award was presented by Acting Chamber President Toni Jorgensen. She thanked Ulrich for "shopping local."

The chamber meets every second Tuesday of the month in The Center.
