ST. JOHN — The St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse (SJEL) Eagles swooped in to beat the Touchet Indians 55-15 on Dec. 7.

The Indians were struggling with an opponent who owned the game from the first quarter. SJEL scored 13 to Touchet’s 4 points, and by halftime their lead expanded to 36-6. As the Eagles rotated players their scoring slowed, but their defense kept Touchet to 9 points in the second half leaving the final score 55-15.

Ten of the 11 SJEL players scored. Hailee Marty led her team by scoring 10 points on the court. Kyra Holt added 8 points in baskets, and Brooklyn Bailey scored 8 points on 2 baskets, 1 3-pointer, and a free successful throw.
