Colfax girls dominate Pullman Greyhounds

COLFAX – The dog fight went to the Colfax Bulldogs girls basketball beating the Pullman Greyhounds 62-17 on Dec. 2.
Colfax dominated Pullman in the first half scoring 55-12. The Bulldogs cooled in the second half adding 7 to their opponent's 5 as they rotated players in to give them some experience. The Greyhounds played their starting lineup throughout the game.
"We were able to rotate in our floaters, and let them play significant minutes in the second half," said Colfax Coach Jordan Holmes. "I am pleased with our ability to run offense, pass, and score. I look forward to getting better on the defensive end of the floor. We have a lot of room to improve there."
Bulldog Brynn McGaughy scored 20 points, 7 baskets, 1 three-pointer, and 3 free throws. She sank 11 of 12 shots, missing one free throw.
Asher Cai added 17 points, and Jaisha Gibb scored 14 points. The trio scored 51 of their team's 62 points.
Pullman's high scorer was Elise McDougle with 6 points from 2 baskets and 2 free throws. Chai Powankee added 3 points and Sehra Singh scored 3 points.
