Families can register for Toy Box Drive

COLFAX — Families needing help with Christmas presents for children can register with the Colfax Fire Department for presents.

For more than 30 years the fire department gathers toy donations and helps distribute them to children for Christmas.

Families can register their children for gifts by Dec. 10 at the fire department or by calling 509-397-3416.

“In this season of giving we are seeking donations to continue serving Whitman County families,” stated an organizer.

Donations of money can be mailed to Volunteer Firemen Inc.’s Toy Box at PO Box 226, Colfax, WA 99111 or dropped off at the fire department at 400 N Mills Street in Colfax.

“All toys purchased will be given to local families in hopes of bringing all a happy and joyous Christmas,” stated an

organizer.
