COLFAX — The Bulldogs were ready for their cross-league football game against the Tonasket Tigers, but the other team canceled.

“It’s a hard way to end the season to expect a game and learning on Thursday afternoon that there’s no ball game,” said Colfax Coach Mike Morgan.

Tonasket didn’t have enough players for a game or a practice.

“Sometimes at the end of the year, it happens. You run out of people,” said Morgan. “We looked at the film and they are good. We were looking forward to the matchup.”
