Colfax searches for councilmember

COLFAX - Colfax is seeking a new councilmember to fill the empty seat of Ben Miller.

"Due to growing personal and military obligations I am not able to give the position the attention it deserves," wrote Miller in a resignation letter on Oct. 24.

Miller was serving in Position 5.

The city council moved forward with steps to search for someone to fill the position.

"We advertise," said City Administrator Chris Mathis. "We get letters of interest."
