House prices increase as sales cool

COLFAX - The average price of a home sold in Whitman County increased to $330,000.

The Whitman County Association of REALTORS® Housing Statistics Report for September 2021 shows that last year ago the average price was $286.700.

In September 45 homes were sold, an increase over 2020 when 38 sold. In August 2021, 55 homes were sold.

The average time homed were on the market rose to 28 days from 16 last month and 26 last year in September, according to the report.

Active real estate listings were 45 for September, which is one more than the listings in August and less than the 67 last year.
