Colfax volleyball defeats Liberty

COLFAX - The Colfax Bulldogs volleyball beat the Liberty Lancers in three at home on Oct. 21.

"Tonight in the first two sets we were in situations where we had to come from behind," said Colfax Coach Brandy Brown. "We can come from behind and win."

The Bulldogs beat the Lancers in three matches (25-23, 25-22, 25-17).

The victory moves Colfax to 8-0 in league play and 18-2 overall.

Colfax's Asher Cai had a strong performance having 9 kills and 17 assists. Justice Brown had 27 assists and 12 digs. Theresa Stolle added 8 kills and 4 blocks. Jaisha Gibb contributed 2 aces and 15 digs.

The home crowd cheered on the Bulldogs to beat the Lancers.

"The crowd was really good tonight," said Brown. "It was really fun."

The next game for Colfax is at home on Saturday against St. George starting at 11 a.m.
