POMEROY - The Oakesdale Nighthawks went to Pomeroy to beat the Pirates in volleyball on Oct. 7.
Oakesdale won in three matches (25-14, 25-15, 25-12), said Athletic Director Ken Lindgren.
Nighthawk Giana Anderson had 13 kills and 14 digs.
Payton Davis had 3 aces.
Samantha Holling provided 29 assists.
Bree Rawls added 2 blocks.
Two days later Oakesdale went to Odessa to defeat the Tigers (25-19, 25-19, 25-12).
Anderson led the team with 14 kills, 2 aces, and 25 digs.
Davis had 14 kills and 2 aces.
Holling added 34 assists.
Rawls had 2 blocks.
