WDFW seeks comment on black bear hunting

OLYMPIA – The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) asks the public to comment on a proposed spring black bear season rule change by Oct. 21.

The proposed rule sets the spring black bear special permit limits.

"We are seeking feedback on the proposed rule," said Anis Aoude, WDFW game division manager. "We'll use this information to guide how we offer spring black bear special permit opportunities in 2022."

Comments must be submitted by Oct. 21.
