Colfax, SJEL, Tekoa-Rosalia run cross country

LEWISTON, Idaho – Colfax girls cross country team won a 1B and 2B league meet on Sept. 28.

The meet hosted by Asotin High School at Lewis and Clark State College.

The Colfax girls won their 5,000 meter run with 15 points.

Bulldogs running were Anna Cocking (23:16) in 4th place, 6th Hannah Baerlocher (24:14), 8th Paige Cocking (26:35), 9th Gabby Rabaiotti (26:37), and 11th Grace Jones (28:07).

St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse (SJEL) had one runner. Halee Berg was in 14th (31:53).

Tekoa-Rosalia had one run. Brook Newman came in 5th (23:56).

In the boys 5,000 varsity run, Asotin won with 23 points, Liberty was in second place with 58 points, and Colfax in third with 64 points. Touchet trailed in fourth with 73 points.

Bulldog Dyamin Varek was in 5th (17:57), 12th Alex McHargue (20:23), 14th Luka Garcia (20:44), 22nd Jack Warwick (21:48), and 32nd Isaac Ward (27:13).

SJEL had three runners compete. They were 11th Ryan Anderson (20:20), 16th Rory Maloney (20:46), and 20th Matthew Logen (21:28).
