Chamber hosts Main Street trick-or-treat

COLFAX - The Colfax Chamber of Commerce is organizing businesses to offer family Halloween fun on Oct. 29.

Trick-or-treating starts at 3 p.m. and continues to 6 p.m.

"Businesses up and down Main Street will have decorations and goodies," stated organizer Molly Keogh.

The library is offering a fun activity kit earlier in the day for younger kids.

The Whitman County Gazette is having a coloring contest to be displayed in the window of The Center at 104 S. Main Street, which is the new home of the Chamber of Commerce.

"Parental supervision is required to participate to ensure a safe evening event, and flashlights are recommended," stated Keogh. "Come downtown and enjoy shopping, eating, and trick-or-treating while enjoying a family outing."

Businesses located off of Main Street have an opportunity to host a table and be part of the event.

Contact Keogh by email at colfaxchamber@gmail.com for a table.
