Endicott native and graduate Sommer Kleweno Walley is now CEO of Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

SEATTLE – Sommer Kleweno Walley grew up in Endicott and was named as the CEO of Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

She graduated St. John-Endicott High School.

Kleweno Walley's appointment was recommended by the University of Washington (UW) Medicine and approved on Sept.15 in a vote by the Harborview Board of Trustees.

She succeeds Paul Hayes, who retired after six years as Harborview CEO.

Kleweno Walley served in clinical and administrative roles during her 24 years with Harborview. She began her Harborview career in 1997 as a speech-language pathologist. She joined Harborview's exec...
