COLFAX - Watercolor paintings by Pullman artist Ernie Weiss are on display at The Center in Colfax through Sept. 30.
"The bright and vibrant works show the range of Weiss' interests including nature, architecture, and other subjects," said Kylie Fullmer, of the Whitman County Library. "Born in Yakima, Weiss grew up on an apple orchard in the Naches Heights District. Exploring the nearby mountains and water ways began his love of nature."
The Center and Colfax library are open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m....
