Vaccination segregation coming soon

August 26, 2021

It has now has been over 530 days since Gov. Jay Inslee proclaimed a state of emergency and again issued another order without going through the Legislature. He ordered that all state employees and health care professionals working in private facilities must get the COVID-19 vaccine or face termination.

Workers have until Oct. 18 to show proof of full vaccination. If they do not, they will likely be shown the door with “non-disciplinary dismissal.”

It is beyond debatable that the governor has abused his emergency powers and betrayed the people of Washington. We did not ask for this.

People across the state – families, business leaders, community advocates, and more – are resisting these edicts. People are either fleeing the state or choosing to dig in their heels. The line is drawn.

The purpose of government is to ensure the rights of the people are protected. When the government and its leaders go beyond that purpose, they are no longer honoring the Constitution.

It is not government’s job to mandate what citizens put in their bodies. The government can issue recommendations in the spirit of public health, but it never has the authority without proper legislative procedure to force untested vaccinations on people.

Several decades ago, World War II formally ended and the horrors of the Holocaust’s concentration camps gained exposure. The world looked back at the origins of Nazism’s rise to power in Germany and how the Jewish people were treated.

One of the steps along the way was officially deeming the Jewish second-class citizens, partly accomplished by forcing them to wear the yellow Star of David.

Their passports became invalid until the German authorities stamped the letter “J” on their papers.

The badge was used in many different countries to not only to stigmatize and humiliate, but also to segregate and control.

Control failed in some Germany-occupied countries when the local population or governments strongly resisted the mandates.

As children, we learned about World War II and the Holocaust in school. It was unimaginable something like this could happen again.

But here we are, in Washington, under Gov. Inslee, who is essentially saying, “Show us your vaccine papers.” The vaccine becomes an identity, and only the vaccinated have access to full participation in society. University of Washington School of Medine is even worse. Their patients are being refused lifesaving treatments, like liver transplants, unless they get vaccinated.

It’s evil.

Show us your papers or lose your job. Show us your papers or you cannot participate in public life, travel, or get government help. Show us your papers or face total exclusion. Show us your papers or you are restricted from public schooling or essential services. Show us your papers or no critical medical care for you.

Does anyone know at what point Gov. Inslee will stop? I sure don’t.

Will we resist when faced with public stigmatization and punishment? Or will we accept vaccine passports?

Inslee has misused his emergency powers and is abusing the good people of our state. He is coercing citizens into receiving an experimental vaccine even as the CDC admits it doesn’t prevent transmission.

Every person has the right to make medical choices for themselves. No one should be forced, coerced or pressured into receiving the vaccine.
