In the article “McClintock family gathers after park renamed,” published July 29, we incorrectly list the name of a park. It was Stan McClintock Park.

The incorrect word was used in a headline on the front page of the Aug. 5 edition. It should have read, “Primary pares down races.”

“This is like the ‘Dewey defeats Truman’ headline being held by an elected President Truman,” said Editor Bill Stevenson. “I take the blame for missing the wrong word substitution.”
