Palouse graduate receives scholarship

PALOUSE — Palouse High School student Austin Jones was awarded a $1,500 scholarship from America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders.

“Jones exemplifies the quality of students who are selected for Grow Ag Leaders scholarships,” said Amy Simpson, spokesperson for Grow Ag Leaders.

Grow Ag Leaders scholarships are administered by the National FFA Organization and available to high school seniors and college students pursuing degrees in ag-related fields.

Jones plans to study biological sciences at Washington State University....
