Three veterans receive Quilts of Valor

COLFAX - Three Quilts of Valor were presented on May 14 at Colfax United Methodist Church.

Keith Zaring, 89, of LaCrosse, served in the Air Force from 1950-54 as a staff sergeant, stationed in Maryland, Fort Myers, VA, and the Pentagon in Communications Intelligence.

Leila Zaring, 90, of LaCrosse, served in the Air Force as an Airman First Class from 1951-1954 and was stationed in Maryland, Fort Myers, VA, and the Pentagon, working in communications intelligence.

Leila and Keith met while in the military.
