PULLMAN – Two bar employees stopped a homeless man from robbing a Pullman couple by threatening them with a skateboard.
Roland G. Davis, 30, a homeless person, was charged in Whitman County Superior Court on May 18 with attempted robbery in the second degree. His last known address was Salem, Ore.
An elderly couple was walking on Grand Avenue in Pullman on May 17 when they were confronted by a man wielding a skateboard in a threatening manner, according to a police report.
