LEWISTON, Idaho — Several Whitman County organizations were selected to receive grants from the Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation.

More than $32,000 in small grants is approved to help organizations dealing with local health care issues.

Whitman County recipients include:

• Colfax – Council on Aging and Human Services, $10,000 for senior nutrition

• Colton – Whitman County Fire District No. 14, $9,100 for quick response emergency supplies

• LaCrosse – LaCrosse Community Outreach, $10,000 for food bank repairs and training
