County agrees to buy land for Whitcom

PULLMAN — Whitman County is buying land for $2.1 million for Whitcom emergency services communications to house building and antennas.
County commissioners approved the expenditure on Monday to buy the land from a private owner. The county had leased the property before.
Whitcom is the county’s emergency communications system operating 9-1-1.
