Bruce Davidson

Bruce Wade Davidson passed away May 1, 2021, in Colfax, Wash.

Born Dec. 27, 1954, in Spokane, Wash., to Robert and Mable (Crane) Davidson. He attended schools in Valleyford, Steptoe, and Colfax, Wash., before serving in the U.S. Air Force.

He returned to Colfax after serving; later marrying Sherrie Zimmerman and becoming an instant father to her three boys: Shane, Travis, and Josh.

Bruce worked various jobs over the years including construction, millwork, tree trimming, farming, along with many years at Spokane Seed and Harrison Electric.

He also started a fireworks company called Sky Magic with friends. They traveled all over the northwest performing firework shows for small towns. He loved this!

He was an avid reader, easily devouring a book per day. Bruce was also a long-standing former member of the Colfax Eagles and Colfax Jay C's.

Survivors include his sons: Shane Davidson (Crystal) of St. John, Wash .; Travis (Jandi) Holtman of Littleton, Colo .; and Josh Davidson of Cheney, Wash .; brothers: Bobby and Ronald; and sisters: Karen, Kathy, Cheryl, Pamela, and Becky. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. We'll miss you Pops!

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his oldest sister, Barbara.

No services are planned at this time. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Whitman County Library.
