Cleanup week near, with higher price

COLFAX — Spring cleanp week at the Whitman County landfill begins April 16 with rates set to increase to match current costs.

The previous rate of $35 per ton was set more than 20 years ago. Cost for this year is expected to be set at $55 per ton.
