380 teachers in Whitman County receive vaccine

PULLMAN — Whitman County teachers and school staff members were offered COVID vaccines on March 6 and 380 were vaccinated at SEL Event Center in Pullman.

Whitman County Public Health Director Chris Skidmore reported to county commissioners Monday.

More teachers and staff will be vaccinated in weekday appointments offered at Whitman Hospital, Pullman Regional Hospital, and Palouse Medical, which should represent all teachers and staff in the county who want to be vaccinated – for the first shot.

A second shot would be scheduled three weeks later.
