Olympia man charged with two Pullman sexual assaults

COLFAX – A Pullman woman claims her ex-boyfriend sexually assaulted her twice after they broke up and he now faces charges of indecent liberties.

Kaybean C. Anderson, 24, of Olympia, is charged with two counts of the felony indecent liberties in Whitman County Superior Court. They were filed on Feb. 23.

His ex-girlfriend claims on Jan. 4, 2020, he spent the night in her apartment and twice molested her while she was asleep on a couch and in a bed. She allegedly woke up to him touching her and conducting sexual acts on her without her permission, according to court records.

She presented a video recording of him allegedly admitting to one of the crimes, according to Pullman police.

“Anderson was later contacted by a Thurston County sheriff’s department detective. Anderson advised that he did not want to make a statement,” wrote a Pullman officer.

He faces a preliminary hearing March 12.
