City park may get expanded name

COLFAX - A Colfax city park will likely get a new name.

The city council briefly discussed a request by the parks board on behalf of the McClintock family on Feb. 16. They asked to add the name Lynne to "Stan McClintock Lookout Park" on Valley View Ave.

Lynne, the late Stan's wife, worked with him and their children Don, Lori and Trudy, on the city parks system.

The new name would be "Stan and Lynne McClintock Lookout Park."

The city council will meet again March 1....
