NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Whitman County, Washington, will consider an ordinance repealing the Marijuana Moratorium, Ordinance #081343, extended most recently by Ordinance #083328.

THAT A HEARING on said adoption will be held in the office of the Whitman County Commissioners in the Courthouse in Colfax, Washington at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on Monday February 1, 2021.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 9th of February, 2021, in the County of Whitman, State of Washington, a Special Election will be held for the purpose of voting on the adoption or rejection of local proposition(s) listed below:

Local Propositions:

Lamont School Dist. 264 Prop. No. 1- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

Colton School Dist. 306 Prop. No. 1- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS:

Pursuant to WAC 434-335-320 the Whitman County Elections Department will be holding the Logic and Accuracy Test on January 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Elections office. This is a pretest of the Whitman County’s tabulation system.

The Canvassing Board of Whitman County, pursuant to RCW 29A.60.160, will hold public meetings at the dates and times listed below. The meetings of the Canvassing Board are open, public meetings under the applicable provisions of Chapter 42.30 RCW and each meeting shall be continued until the activity for which the meeting is held has been completed.

The Town of Fairfield, Town of Latah, Town of Rockford, Town of Spangle, Town of Waverly, Spokane County Fire District No. 12, City of Tekoa and the Tekoa Parks and Recreation District No. 6 have signed an interlocal agreement for the Small Works/Vendor and Consultant roster. They solicit any licensed contractor, vendor or consultant desiring to perform work or services for any or all of the above listed towns and cities. Projects may include work or equipment for the town/district/city’s sewer, water, street or bridge facilities, or any other project or services as required by the town/district/city. Design, plans, specifications and services during construction for street and utility improvements may include those funded TIB, WSDOT, STP, CMAO, and USDA, CDBG, DWSRF, PWTF, SIED, DOE, DOH, IHS, and other Federal, State, County and local funds.

SMALL WORKS ROSTER/VENDOR LIST/PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The Town of Albion is updating its small works roster for construction, repair and maintenance services with estimated cost under $350,000 and service rosters for professional services. The rosters are used by the Town to request bids from contractors on the roster for public works projects and solicit professional services. Qualified minority and women owned firms are encouraged to be included on the roster. Firms desiring to be included in the small works roster please mail a letter with the following information: Name, phone number, Federal TIN or Social Security Number, State Contractors License Number, Bonding Number and company, current State Unified Business Identifier (UBI) Number, Minority or Woman owned Certification Number, and a description of services and products provided by your company. Firms desiring to be on the Professional Services Roster shall provide a statement of qualifications (SOQ) not to exceed 20 pages (hard copies only). AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ENDICOTT, WASHINGTON, amending Ordinance No. 329, §1, and Endicott Municipal Code §2.04.010, thereby changing the regular meeting times of the Town Council during the months of November through March from 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month to 6:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, and providing that subsequent times and places for regular meetings be determined by resolution of the Town Council.

BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Endicott as follows:

Section I. Endicott Municipal Code §2.04.010 and those portions of Ordinance No. 329 §1, which are codified as Endicott Municipal Code §2.04.010 are hereby amended to read as follows: “2.04.010 – Meetings. A. During the months of November through March, the Town Council shall hold its regular meeting on the second Tuesday of those months to commence at 6:00 p.m., to be held in the council chambers in the Town Hall of Endicott, Washington. During the months of April through October, the Town Council shall hold its regular meeting on the second Tuesday of those months to commence at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers in the Town Hall in Endicott, Washington. The foregoing meeting times and place are subject to change from time-to-time by resolution of the Town Council.

B. The Town Council shall conduct all meetings in compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act as found in RCW Chapter 42.30; provided, however, the Town Council may conduct executive sessions closed to the public only as specifically authorized in RCW 42.30.1 10.”

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after it, or a summary thereof, is published in the official newspaper of the Town of Endicott as required by law.
