Campus return receives support

PULLMAN — The Whitman County Health Department is now supporting the return of elementary students to campus for in-person education.

While the Pullman School District has constitutional jurisdiction over all educational matters, the governor’s coronavirus shutdowns asked for health districts to provide input to local school boards.

The Health Department now supports allowing high-need students to return for in-person learning in groups of 15 or fewer.
