Churches hold special services

COLFAX — Area churches will hold special services in connection to the Christmas holiday this week. In all cases, attendees are asked to wear masks and socially distance.

• Catalyst Church continues its on-line services with Christmas SOS - Advent 2020. Through its website, catalystchurch.life, the church has three messages in the Christmas SOS series, available in audio and video formats, exploring God’s holiday-rescue-mission with the prophet Micah.

• Church of the Nazarene will conduct a service Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m.

• Macedonia Baptist Church will have Christmas carols and a Christmas message at its Christmas Eve service, at 7 p.m., Dec. 24

• Peace Lutheran Church has an in-person worship planned for the Christmas Eve service beginning at 7 p.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to sign up in advance through the church’s website, peacelutherancolfax.org.

• St. Patrick Parish will have services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. On Dec. 24, Children’s Mass is at 5:30 p.m. and Christmas Eve service at 10 p.m. On Dec. 25, Christmas Mass is at 8:30 a.m. in Colfax and at 11 a.m. in LaCrosse.

• United Methodist Church will conduct a service at 4:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Public is invited to listen in-person in the church chapel or from the parking lot in the same manner the church services have been broadcast recently.

• Real Life Church will be in the United Methodist Church chapel for a service Dec. 24. at 6:30 p.m.
