Food bank date changes for Christmas

COLFAX — The Colfax Food Pantry was open Dec. 15 and will be closed Christmas week.

The pantry usually distributes food the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. To give staff a break for Christmas, the second distribution was moved up and included whole chickens and pie.

For Thanksgiving, the food bank distributed 800 turkeys and meals county-wide, including 75 to the new Washington State University pantry....
