Michael Strevy

Michael G. Stevy, 78, passed away unexpectedly from congestive heart failure on December 5, 2020, at Sacred Heart Hospital.

He was born June 28, 1942, in Colfax, Wash., at the St. Ignatius Hospital, the son of Fred and Margaret (Corby) Strevy. Michael graduated from Colfax High School, class of 1961.

Following graduation, he married Sherron (Bryan) Strevy in LaCrosse, Wash., in 1962. He joined the US Army in 1966. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1969. He worked in the electronics field at Metriguard where he held many patents. He really enjoyed fishing, refurbishing antique radios and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Sherron Strevy; sisters, Fritzie Strevy Wolfe of Colfax, Inez Strevy Lavery of Tumwater, and Melanie Strevy; his five children, Nelda Strevy of Colfax, Sherry (Randy) Johnson of Colfax, Michael (April) Strevy II of Colfax, Brenton (Jerilene) Strevy of Colfax, and Samantha Strevy of Goldendale; and eight grandchildren.

The family will have a memorial to honor Michael. Per Michael's request he will be cremated and the family will tend his ashes.
