Palouse chamber celebrates Christmas week events

PALOUSE — The Palouse Chamber of Commerce will host a double feature drive-in movie night at the RV park at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19. The movie will show on the side storage building as the screen. The Palouse Federated Church will loan its radio transmitter for audio. Films shown will be “A Charlie Brown Christmas” followed by “White Christmas”.
Earlier in the day, at noon, Santa Claus will appear at the Community Center.
In other Palouse events, a gingerbread house decorating contest will be from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., Dec. 19 with participants asked to drop off their creations at the Palouse Library. Prizes will be given for the winners, with the gingerbread houses later displayed in the St. Elmo’s building.
At 6 p.m., Dec. 20, the Palouse Federated Church children’s Christmas pageant will be presented on social media. On Dec. 21, also online, is “A Palouse Christmas Special: Homebound for the Holidays” at 7 p.m., in which neighbors and friends share songs and stories, with a live screening on Youtube and broadcasted on 107.5 FM.
Wednesday, Dec. 23, brings the “World Famous Palouse All-Around Town Christmas Parade,” a Christmas caroling motorcade beginning at 6 p.m. at Palouse Federated Church.
