November 26, 2020

PULLMAN — The Arts Commission is seeking submissions for a new “End Racism Now” mural.

Artists may submit designs that express solidarity to end racism and spotlight diversity.

The commission will review entries and recommend a design to the City Council.

The winning submission will be painted along a retaining wall along Spring Street. The mural will be 120 feet long by 7.5 feet tall. The winner will receive $500 for a single artist of $1,500 for a team.

Designs will be evaluated on size and scale, durability, cost, content and vandalism resistance, as well as the theme.
