Whitman County had a wholesale jail delivery on Sunday night, Jailer Newcomer being disarmed, bound and gagged and six prisoners walked out of the jail.

The men thus attempting to escape were Frank Kelly, a partner of Murderer Symes of Adams county, and who was arrested at Oakesdale, on Friday on a charge of cattle stealing; Thos.
