Parks fire restrictions lifted

COLFAX – Fire restrictions ended Oct. 12 for all Whitman County managed parks and trails.

This includes Kamiak Butte, Wawawai, Klemgard, and the Bill Chipman Palouse Trail.

Campfires are now allowed.

All park visitors should still remain prepared and vigilant, always keep a bucket of water and shovel nearby when cooking....
