Wildfire fund passes $200,000

PULLMAN - United Way of Whitman County received widespread community support for the Babb Road/Malden Wildfire Relief and Recovery Fund. The fund recently topped $200,000 due to more than 900 individual donations.

"The outpouring of support on both the local and national levels has been overwhelming," said Karissa Schlosser, Chair of the United Way Wildfire Fund Task Force. "We are so fortunate to live in a community that takes care of its neighbors."
