County author, illustrator team up for new book

LaCROSSE—Local author Daniel Moore of LaCrosse and illustrator Rob Smith of St. John have teamed up to release a new, self-published book titled “Have a Pie, Have a Party.”

The story is a poem by Moore describing the pie-making process as seen through the eyes of a special-needs boy.

Moore previously wrote the books “Billy the Balloon” and “Randy the Rooster.”

Moore’s wife and daughter are the proprietors of J.P. Pies.
