Monthly exhibit at Dahmen Barn

UNIONTOWN - Wood Art & Watercolor is on exhibit the month of September at the Dahmen Barn. The exhibit opens Saturday and the artists will be there to visit with from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 5. The exhibit continues through Sept. 27.

Talent often runs in the family as it does with this local father and son, Vern and Danny Tietz. Vern turns utilitarian and decorative wood bowls and other objects from a variety of local-sourced wood and Danny paints watercolor in a pen and ink style. Danny’s watercolors feature local places and whimsical paintings.
