Softball tournament brings 12 teams to Colfax

The first Scooter Brennan Invitational softball tournament brought 12 youth teams to Colfax Saturday, July 11.

After pool play games, the 12 & under teams divided into two brackets, with the Mizuno Maniacs winning the gold bracket over Maniacs O’Leary. Both teams are part of the same organization in the Walla Walla area.

For the silver bracket, Mill Creek Mayhem beat Liberty Lake in the final.

The tournament included the Colfax Charge, a team coached by Jamie Colyar. They lost in their first game of bracket play and were eliminated.

The tournament was organized by Pete Koerner of Colfax.
