Disabled combine blocks traffic

A Case combine pulling a header backed up traffic Wednesday afternoon more so than usual.

A report of a disabled combine was logged just before 4 p.m. in the southbound lane of Highway 195 north of the Chevron station in Colfax. According to Colfax chief Bruce Blood, the combine was disabled for about 45 minutes due to a broken belt which was replaced on-scene.
