Library host fairy tale art contest

Youth preschool to high school age are invited to create a Fairy Tale Creature for the library summer reading art contest. Create a new fairy tale creature or re-create one from a story you’ve read using any media, watercolor, pencil drawing, clay or recycled material. Submit a JPG or BMP photo of the creature to fairytaleart@whitco.lib.wa.us June 26-July 3.

A virtual art show of creations and selection of five random prize winners will be announced July 10 at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
