County beings chip-sealing

 


Whitman County Public Works began its summer chip-sealing work this week at Farmington Road. Eight county roads are scheduled to be chip-sealed June 17 - 25. Chip-sealing waterproofs and puts new wear-course down on paved roads.

Roads in planned order of completion–barring delays from weather or equipment failure–are as follows: Farmington Road, June 17; Wells Road, June 18; Scharpenberg Road, June 22; Scott Road, June 22; Zaring Cut-Off Road, June 23; Elberton Road, June 24; Country Club Road, June 25; Church Road, June 25.
