Cold air funnel sighted

LaCROSSE – Whitman County Sheriff's Office received a report of "weather funnel(s)" touching ground along the Union Flat Creek Road area at 7:40 p.m. June 15. The report was made from a walker on Winona South Road.

According to the National Weather Service, cold air funnels are not unusual on cold summer days and normally don't produce much damage.

No damage was reported with the sighting....
