Birthday party social distances

Dick Appel hosted a party for his wife Helen's birthday. It was held in the garage and yard to uphold social distancing. Those attending were Bruce and Elaine Appel and family, Spokane; Phil Appel, Cheney; Eric and Shannon Appel and family, Dusty; Caroline and Rob Kunkel and family, Pullman; Neil and Liz Appel family, Dusty; and Lisa and Travis Frei and family, Colfax.

Art and Colene Sager have a house guest from Minneapolis, Minn. Judy Naumann has been a friend of Colene's since grade school. While she is visiting, the Sagers are planning on various activities including a barbecue at their son and daughter-in-law's home, Kyle and Ann, in Spokane and a hotdog and s'mores roast at their home with their other son's family, Blake, Marcy, Jullene and Kenneth, Colfax. The Sagers and Naumann will also fly to Judy's two brothers' homes in McCall and Garden Valley, Idaho. This is Judy's first visit in the spring and she keeps commenting on the beauty of our green fields and waving grain.
