Van Tine graduates ROTC

Ryan John Van Tine, grandson of CherryAlice Van Tine of Colfax, son of Andrew Van Tine and wife of Shelby, Mont, and Kelly McAdams of Simms, Mont., graduated from Shelby High School May 2019. He joined the Montana Army National Guard 163rd Cav before he graduated high school. On Aug. 13, 2019, he attended basic training at US Army Infantry Fort Benning, Ga. On Nov. 28, 2019, he became PFC Ryan Van Tine, Charlie Co. 198th Brigade 2nd Battalion 58th Infantry Regiment. He graduated 4th Platoon Honor graduate.
