CALL FOR BID PARK STREET AND NOB HILL STREET IMPROVEMENTS

Town of St. John, Washington (Owner) invites bids for the construction of the Park Street and Nob Hill Street Improvements. The work includes improvement of Park Street from Front Street, including overlaying the existing pavement, stormwater improvements, pavement repair on Nob Hill Street near Lawrence Avenue, and other work. 

Sealed bids for the described project will be received at the St. John Clerk's Office, E. 1 Front Street, St. John, Washington until 2:00 p.m., local time, June 25, 2020, and then publicly opened and read aloud. 

The Contractor is subject to all requirements related to Prevailing Wage Rates, EEO, and Washington State Contracting Laws, etc.

The contract time for all work shall be 30 working days.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or at the other locations listed below.

The digital Bidding Documents may be downloaded for a non-refundable payment of $25.00 by inputting QuestCDN eBidDoc Number 7126039 on the website. No paper sets will be provided for bidding purposes. 

Each bid on the project must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the contract as prescribed in the contract documents.

The Owner may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed requirements, and may reject for good cause any and all bids upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so.

The Personal Representative named below has been appointed as Personal Representative of this estate. Any person having a claim against the Decedent that arose before the Decedent’s death must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Personal Representative or the Personal Representative’s attorney at the address stated below a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the Court in which the probate proceedings were commenced. The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) Thirty (30) days after the Personal Representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020(1)(c) or (2) four (4) months after the date of first publication of the Notice. If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim will be forever barred except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and RCW 11.40.060. This bar is effective as to claims against both the Decedent’s probate and non-probate assets.
